Internship
One of the great opportunities afforded by attending a research institution is the ability to participate in undergraduate internships. An internship such as this one provided us with hands-on experience using real artifacts and the technologies that allow us to study them. We all came into this internship with different interest backgrounds in anthropology, but we are all leaving it with having gained valuable knowledge that we would not have acquired in a classroom setting.
