HowHow You Can Contribute to This History
Much of what we know about the history of archaeology in the State of Minnesota is anecdotal or present in a few scattered papers. Minnesota Archaeology: A Brief History is intended to be a central repository for this information. However, the success of the project depends upon your participation. Much more information should be added to the chronology table and additional illustrations are always welcome. Whole sections of each chapter can be expanded. We consider this history a group project in which everyone interested in Minnesota archaeology can contribute.
To contribute to this history, email me (GG) at gibbo001@umn.edu, telephone the Wilford Laboratory of North American Archaeology, or send a letter to: The Wilford Laboratory of Arechaeology, Department of Anthropology, University of Minnesota, 395 H. H. Humphrey Center, 301 19th Ave South, Minneapolis, MN 55455. If appropriate, your information or illustrations will be incorporated into the manuscript and you will be given credit for your contribution.
