EAL is committed to involving undergraduates at the University of Minnesota in as many aspects of our research as possible. We offer an internship course that provides hands-on experience with research and curation projects occuring in the lab. For more information, please visit the Anth 4007 page. We also encourage advanced students to engage in UROP projects (link) and senior projects that utilize our facilities.
As time permits, we also work to bring our excitement about and commitment to archaeology and biological anthropology to the general public through periodic talks to primary and secondary school students, courses offered through the University’s continuing education program (The Compleat Scholar: http://www.cce.umn.edu/scholars/), and general consultation.
